Bilge Öztürk was seen during and after a concert of a Turkish singer called Nev (http://www.nev.com.tr/) with a guy having fun. Both have been seen closely. This behaviour put rumours in circulation about an arranged relationship between Tarkan and Bilge Öztürk. Until now neither Tarkan nor Bilge stated their position on these allegations.

As previously announced Beyonce (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beyonc%C3%A9_Knowles) should have given a concert in Istanbul actually. Tarkan and other Turkish artists wanted to go to this concert. It was also rumoured that Tarkan would have the chance to meet Beyonce backstage. But this concert couldn’t be realized because of political reasons in Turkey. As you know Turkey has problems with the Kurdish organisation Pkk and people were apprehensive of an attack at this concert.

According to the daily newspaper “Sabah” Tarkan and Sezen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sezen_Aksu) became reconciled after the problem about the song Nezaket. Originally Sezen Aksu gave her song Nezaket (http://www.tarkancoll.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5360) to Tarkan but after Tarkan had found out that once Sezen Aksu also wanted to give her song to Ferhat Göcer (http://www.ferhatgocer.com/), he didn’t want it anymore because he was afraid there could be a copy of it. This event about this song was interpreted as another possible doggedness between both although Tarkan stated at the Turkish airport centre (http://www.tarkancoll.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5380) that this decision was taken in consultation with Sezen Aksu. Furthermore the newspaper states that Sezen Aksu is going to write a new song for him. If this newspaper is to believed the album will be released next year.

Michael Kuyucu who is a composer, writer and moderator called Tarkan as an afraid and conservative person. The reason for this statement is again the issue about who is going to represent Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest. Michael Kuyucu said that the Turkish public TV channel TRT tries for years to argue Tarkan into accepting to go to the Eurovision but Tarkan never agreed. In the same year when Sertab Erener (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sertab_Erener) represented Turkey at the Eurovision, TRT offered Tarkan and Candan Ercetin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candan_Er%C3%A7etin) to go there too but they didn’t agree.
