Yes, the reason is, youtube has been in trouble with some artists, they had to pay a lot of money because the videos were on youtube put by people who don';t have the copyright. Officially the video can only be uploaded by the artist himself, or the management. So some artists have made official protests against youtube and youtube had to pay them money.
So now, they are very careful. Mu-Yap, the Turkish organisation who protects artists rights, has been after youtube too. They have ordered to have Tarkans videos removed. But we talked with HITT productions (Tarkans management) in Istanbul:
THEY don't want the youtube videos of Tarkan removed! These things are done without HITT giving them any orders.

I told Ozlen that Tarkan has to make his own youtube account and upload his videos. But in Turkey, youtube is very difficult to access. So, they can't do that...
Anyway we can't do much, HITT is now aware of the problems, I think they should talk to Mu-Yap. We can't do that. Or they should contact youtube directly, if this is possible.
